Posted in Announcements News
The Federal Reserve Board and the Georgetown Center for Economic Research are organizing the Fifth DC Search and Matching Workshop. The workshop will be held in person on April 17 and 18, 2026, in Washington, D.C. We invite researchers to submit theoretical and theoretically motivated empirical contributions using search and matching theory and related frameworks, including any topic, such as labor; housing; industrial organization; and money, payments, and finance.
Approximately 12 papers will be selected for presentation, and we expect to invite discussants for each presentation. Drafts or extended abstracts should be submitted electronically by January 31, 2026, to DCSearchandMatching@frb.gov. Preference will be given to completed papers. Authors of accepted submissions will be notified by March 2, 2026.
Attendance will be by invitation only. Qualified researchers who would like to request an invitation should email DCSearchandMatching@frb.gov.
